I took a class in high school called "Typing," in a room full of Selectrics. It was taught by a crazy man who always wore a suit and tie. I also took classes in "Sewing" and "Cooking," though the latter obviously didn't take.rmellishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03133206908895131438noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2046663689477874544.post-68660273435973430032007-02-12T22:54:00.000-05:002007-02-12T22:54:00.000-05:00Yes, that's it, thanks matthew! And he is a wonderful guy, kind to young writers. When Rhian and I were publishing a little mag, back in the day, in Missoula, he was one of the only "real" writers to respond to our query. (The others were Heather McHugh and Charles Simic.)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2046663689477874544.post-62813990645869964262007-02-12T22:10:00.000-05:002007-02-12T22:10:00.000-05:00Great post. It's a good interview. How great that you've been able to correspond with him over the years - I'll bet he's good with the letter-writing, quantity and quality -Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
